Spring Has Sprung…Almost!

Throughout August, we have enjoyed the sunnier and warmer days, that are beginning to fill a lot like Spring! Thankfully, we received some fresh snow on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th, with approximately 5cm each day. We were able to groom the ski trails and experience snow play all over the resort. We were then blessed with 20cm+ on the last weekend of August to help bring the season to a close!

End of Season 2025 Wrap-up Party

On August 30th and 31st we hosted an “End of Season Wrap-Up Party” with DJ Garry!

Garry provided good vibes and great tunes to enjoy our dance party, featuring Lenny the Leadbeater. What better way to bring in the end of the season than having a boogie at the resort with all the fresh snow.

End of Season Plan

As the season inevitably comes to a close, the resort has begun adapting to the diminished snow conditions and lower visitation with a reduction in the workforce, along with limited artificial snow production.

The resort winter season will be concluding on Sunday 7th September 2025.

As we work to pack-down the resort after the winter operations, there will be no public access to the resort from Monday 8th September until Sunday 28th September.

Thank you to everyone who visited this season we hope you enjoyed your snow experience and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

Thank You!

We’ve had an incredible winter season here at Lake Mountain no thanks to the amazing staff, supportive community and well…mother nature!

We appreciate every single staff member that joined us this season, setting up their temporary lives in Marysville and creating a one-of-a-kind team, we wish you all the very best with your future plans!

A Head Start on the MTB Trails

A few of the Lake Mountain operations crew have kick started the clearing of the Cascades MTB trail. Beginning along Lower Cascades at Harry’s Landing to the Lunchroom, they have chipped away at cutting away the fallen trees in this area. Benny has also managed to complete some TLC up around the Summit with the excavator!

Clearing the 28km MTB trail is no easy feat which is why we are pumped to get started ASAP, ahead of the MTB season opening on Melbourne Cup Weekend in November 2025!

More details coming soon on the shuttle dates and prices for summer 2025/26
