With over 25km of groomed cross-country ski
trails, Lake Mountain is the perfect place to
experience cross-country skiing.
We’re open 7 days a week during July Victorian School Holidays, and Thursday to Monday for the rest of the season.
Gates are open 8AM-4PM. All resort facilities are open at 8:30AM. Last Entry is at 3PM.

Snowshoes or skis are required on all ski trails. We currently don’t offer these for hire. Please see below a list of nearby rental locations.

Ski trails are open for skiers and snowshoers only and groomed in the morning, when there is sufficient snow cover.

No. Lake Mountain is a Cross-Country Ski Resort only, so we don’t have chairlifts.
As there are no lifts at Lake Mountain, skiing here takes a little more effort as you need to propel yourself up and down the ski trails. Don’t worry though, the trails aren’t steep like regular downhill ski trails. There are over 25 kilometres of trails winding their way through trees covering Lake Mountain.
