RESORT CLOSURE – Resort reopens on Monday the 5th of October
Please note there will not be a shuttle service this season. Riders can still self-shuttle, which is a great option if you plan ahead with your mates.
Lake Mountain has quickly become a favourite in the mountain biking community with runs descending for 30km from the top of Lake Mountain through beautiful alpine forest all the way down to Marysville. Mountain biking is back at Lake Mountain from the start of November (Cup Weekend). The iconic Cascades Trail will reopen for the summer season, giving riders the chance to return to the alpine environment, refreshed trail segments and the cruise through to Marysville.
Keep an eye out for renewed sections of trail completed last year, including work at the back of Snowy Hill and below Sunds Road. Benny’s trail handiwork is ready for riders to enjoy, so ride within your ability, respect the mountain and make the most of the green season at Lake Mountain.

We’re open 7 days a week in summer. Our administration office is open Wednesday 8AM-4PM.
There will be NO available toilets on resort this coming summer.
The closest toilets available on resort are located down at the gate entry – Cascades toilets. These toilets are located on the left-hand side of the ticket box entry. Please see image below.

تُعد Cascades واحدة من أفضل مسارات الهبوط في فيكتوريا، وسرعان ما أصبحت مفضلة لدى مجتمع ركوب الدراجات الجبلية. هذا المسار المخصص لجميع أنواع الجبال، الذي يوفر مغامرة متوسطة مع ميزات متقدمة، يمتد لمسافة 30 كم من قمة بحيرة ماونتن عبر غابات ألباين جميلة وصولاً إلى ماريسبيل.

طحن الجرانيت السفلي
مغلق 5 كيلومتر
ينزل مسار Lower Granite Grind إلى نقطة عبور للنهر، قبل أن يعود صعوداً على مسار واحد لتسلق مدته 2 كيلومتر عائداً إلى المنتجع. تمرين لطيف يمر عبر أنقاض قطع الأشجار القديمة وغابة رماد الجبل.

مسار تزلج هابط من عشرينيات القرن الماضي، يوفر هذا القسم الهابط التقني خيارًا مختلفًا داخل مسار ’جرانيت جرايند". هذا المسار القصير مثالي للإحماء قبل مسار "كاسكيدز" أو طريقة رائعة لتحدي أصدقائك.

أحضر دائمًا مياهك الخاصة حيث لا توجد مياه صالحة للشرب على المسار. ننصح بشدة أيضًا بإحضار وجبات خفيفة عالية الطاقة لتعزيز قوتك على طول الطريق. أدوات إصلاح الثقوب ضرورية، بالإضافة إلى ملابس دافئة ومقاومة للماء في حالة تغير الطقس فجأة.

No. There will not be a shuttle service this MTB season. Riders can self-shuttle.
A number of trail segments were renewed last year, including sections at the back of Snowy Hill and below Sunds Road.After the snow season, maintenance needs to occur to ensure the trails are clear of trees and in a safe condition for riders.
Commercial shuttle services require correct permitsfor both resort and state forest access. ARV is currently progressing a commercial licence opportunity for the Cascades trail and as such no other licences or permits will be issued at this time.
ARV will continue to work on longer-term options for commercial service provision connected mountain biking at Lake Mountain, as well as broader green season activation opportunities.
