Mountain Biking
Currently the resort is CLOSED until Monday the 5th of October
Mountain biking is back at Lake Mountain from the start of November (Cup Weekend). The iconic Cascades Trail will reopen for the summer season, giving riders the chance to return to the alpine environment, refreshed trail segments and the cruise through to Marysville.
Keep an eye out for renewed sections of trail completed last year, including work at the back of Snowy Hill and below Sunds Road. Benny’s trail handiwork is ready for riders to enjoy, so ride within your ability, respect the mountain and make the most of the green season at Lake Mountain.
MTB Trail Clearing
The hard work of the operations crew continues along our upper section of the Cascades trail. MTB Shuttles
Please note there will not be a shuttle service this season, this also includes any weekday private shuttles. Riders can still self-shuttle, which is a great option if you plan ahead with your mates.
Events
Up and coming over the coming months we’ll see the following events on resort
Great Tarmac Rally 2027– Will take place on resort on October 23rd. There will be no access to the resort on this day as it is a closed event. An amazing 3-day event across Marysville bringing some incredible race cars and talented drivers!
Lotus Drive Day – Will take place on October 29th where we will see a group of drivers enjoying the scenic resort road in a variety of Lotus sports cars, which was part of a larger Lotus Tour, visiting multiple other locations across the alpine resorts.
Victorian Enduro Race – Unfortunately due to limited resources we will not be hosting this much-loved event for 2027.
Resort Facilities Over Summer
Currently the resort is CLOSED until the 5th of October
The resort will remain open to the public throughout the summer period, this includes access to the ski trails (for walking), walking trails, MTB trails, car park, electric BBQs.
Attention! There will be no public toilets available on resort this season. The closest toilet access point is at the Cascades Toilets located to the left of our main resort entry point.
Please be mindful that the resort DOES NOT have any potable/ drinkable water. Toilet facilities are only available at the resort entry picnic area only.
For those visiting the resort, please come prepared with water, food, sun protection and appropriate clothing for all conditions. Always keep an eye out for snakes!
Administration Officer Hours
Available on Wednesdays throughout summer, 8am to 4pm.
