For those that are keen Cascades riders, we have introduced a 4x Cascades Weekend shuttle ticket available to purchase online, providing riders 4x single shuttle tickets to utilise on any weekend day at a 20% discount. This multi ticket will be available to redeem from November 1st 2025 to April 26th 2026.

Events

Over the past few weeks, we have had the Australian Tarmac Rally, Lotus Drive Day and Nissan Master Tech Conference hosted at the resort.

Australian Tarmac Rally – Took place just outside the resort along Marysville-Woodspoint Rd on October 26th.

Lotus Drive Day – Was on October 30th where we saw a group of drivers enjoying the scenic resort road in a variety of sports cars, which was part of a larger Lotus Tour, visiting multiple other locations and alpine resorts.

Nissan Master Tech Conference – This was our most recent event on December 3rd and 4th, with over 100 Nissan employees coming to the resort to test out several types of Nissan vehicles along varying terrain. The brand hired out the bistro building and conference room, with a local catering company utilising the kitchen to accommodate their needs.

Coming up in 2026, we have the Victorian Enduro MTB event on March 29th. This event will be taking place along the Cascades MTB trail as per last year. More details for the Enduro Race will be coming soon!

Resort facilities over Summer

The resort will remain open to the public throughout the summer period, this includes access to the ski trails (for walking), walking trails, MTB trails, car park, electric BBQs and public toilets.

Please be mindful that the resort DOES NOT have any potable/ drinkable water. Toilet facilities are available at the resort entry picnic area and Gerraty’s car park at the top.

For those visiting the resort, please come prepared with water, food, sun protection and appropriate clothing for all conditions. Always keep an eye out for snakes!

MTB Trail Clearing

The hard work of the operations crew continues along our Cascades trail. Lower Cascades along the Whiteleys and Lunchroom area have been getting some brush cutting to provide more visibility and ease of access along the trail.

We’ve also had some earthworks along the climb to the Summit, helping to widen the trail to make it more enjoyable to ride!

Happy Holidays!

The team at Lake Mountain would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year! We can’t wait to see what 2026 has instore for the resort.

*The resort office will be closed from December 24th to January 5th.
