Lake Mountain offers state of the art modern facilities in the main visitor centre. The visitor centre provides an ideal base to explore the mountain.

With most of the resort infrastructure being destroyed in the February bushfires of 2009, construction of a new facility was completed mid 2011.

Water Supply
Please note the water supply at Lake Mountain Alpine Resort is drawn from the Echo Flat area of the ski trails.
This is an unprotected catchment that is the headwaters of the Taggerty river. Under the provisions of section 6 of the Safe Drinking Water Act, the Minister for Health has declared the water to be regulated water not suitable for drinking.
Bottled water is available at Heights Bar and Bistro.

Guest Services
During winter the resort employs Guest Services Staff. Their role is to make the visitor experience as enjoyable as possible. This includes being a point of contact for the visitor, providing information and points of interest to the visitor and ensuring that everyone is having a good time. The Guest Services team run Kids Club activities during the snow season and also ensure that the resort mascot ‘Lenny the Leadbeaters Possum’ is out and about saying hi to everyone and providing photo opportunities.
