Lake Mountain is Melbourne’s closest and most affordable alpine resort. During the White Season enjoy over 30km of cross country ski trails, tobogganing and snow play areas. The resort is also a great Green Season playground. Introduced to 2011/2012, summer is an entirely new experience at Lake Mountain with loads of activities for you and the family.
New activities include, x2 240m long flying foxes, Dune Buggies for you to explore the mountain, Laser Skirmish, Disc Golf, Tube Run, Mountain Bike hire and tours and much much more. School Holidays are made for fun here on the mountain, we encourage fun, laughter and environment.
Other activities include walking, road cycling, and heading up to one of our many fantastic lookouts.

- Dogs and cats are not permitted at Lake Mountain
- Located an easy 22km drive from Marysville
- There is no accommodation on mountain. Refer to our accommodation pages for a list of options in the area
- The water at Lake Mountain is NOT suitable for drinking
- Mobile Phone coverage is available with Telstra 3G only
