Snowsports Centre

Get active and adventurous. Visit our Snowsports Centre so we can help gear you up and get you on your way to explore our extensive trail system, covering almost 40km, beyond the resort precinct.

Lake Mountain boasts a dedicated Snowsports Centre, catering for Winter sports such as cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ski orienteering, laser biathlon, and pre-season roller skiing.

Visit the Snowsports Centre for group and private ski lessons for all ages and levels of ability. We offer sessions specifically tailored to ability and technique for skating and classic skiing.

Take a snowshoe tour with a resort guide - the Snowsports Centre is able to arrange group or individual packages to fit your requirements.

We are located in the Fisher Nordic Demo Centre, adjacent to the Bistro, and just metres from the start of our extensive network of cross country ski trails.

 

Cross Country Ski Lessons

From guiding you through the basics of the sport to refining your racing skills, our Snowsports Centre will get you going in no time. With the right instruction, anyone can learn to ski, so why not give it a go? Or, for the more experienced, let us help you reach your potential!

Our Snowsports Centre, and its team of qualified and enthusiastic instructors headed by world-class skiers, offers a range of packages and public and private lessons for individuals, groups, clubs and schools.

Public 1 hour lessons

Lessons are run on demand, generally on the hour. The first lesson for the day commences at 8.30am while the latest lesson is at 3pm. Maximum group size is 12. Private lessons are also available.

Please collect your ski equipment and winter clothing at the rentals department before booking a lesson time at the Snowsports Centre. The Snowsports staff will endeavor to book you into the first available lesson slot.

The minimum age for lessons is five years old. Lessons for younger children may be available at the discretion of the Snowsports Centre.
