There are a number of lookouts at Lake Mountain that are definitely worth experiencing.
With an exceptional walk to each you will witness the re-generating alpine forest and possibly some of the returned wildlife, along with beautiful wildflowers. At the various lookouts you will find panoramic views of the Victorian Alps, the Great Dividing Range, the Township of Marysville and right across to Melbourne.
Why not take a picnic to enjoy when you get to that special lookout point or order a sumptuous meal at the Bistro when you return to the main village.
